Visitor Experience

Once opened, Aero Space Kinross (ASK) will be celebrated amongst some of Scotland’s best visitor attractions.

Our centre will be staffed with a crew of enthusiastic science educators and communicators who will guide visitors through the experience and help all to explore the science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) of astronomy, flight and space exploration.

Both the UK and Scottish governments have identified STEM learning as vital to our future economic development and ASK will assist in meeting this key national strategic goal. We aim to inspire young people and adults to enjoy and explore STEM and to discover links between education and real-life applications and job-roles in Scotland.

While ASK may be compared to science centres, museums and planetariums, it will be unique in Scotland by virtue of its themed interactive technology, displays and its educational benefit to the community.

We expect that event organisers will be queuing to get in to start planning events at ASK. With a unique theme and visually stunning displays, the centre will make the perfect venue for functions, special events and of course weddings.

ASK will seek to meet the needs of all visitors to any major tourist attraction and will include:
